UNHCR relies almost entirely on voluntary contributions from governments, inter-governmental institutions, individuals, foundations and corporations.

The governments of Australia and New Zealand are generous donors to refugee protection and the work of UNHCR, each providing flexible funds for UNHCR's core protection work each year as well as contributing to specific activities and projects in the region and around the world.

In Australia, Australia for UNHCR is the national association dedicated to fundraising from members of the public to help UNHCR's work worldwide. Their website is at www.unrefugees.org.au, or you can click here to make a donation.

International donors can make donations on the UNHCR's donations website.
